Taking Dominion Expansion

Dominion Church

stands on the cusp of an exciting journey, seeking to purchase a larger facility that once distributed light energy to our region. Our vision? Transform it into a spiritual hub that serves, empowers, and fosters growth for our community. Beyond just church services, this facility will become a community epicenter – from aiding families with essential needs to potentially serving as a refuge in times of natural disasters. We’ve always been a ministry with our boots on the ground, committed to shining Christ’s light. Now, we need your support more than ever to bring this vision to life. Every dollar matters and can play a part in creating a legacy for our children’s children.

Our Journey

From Storefront to Sanctuary:

Our church’s origins trace back to first meeting in a small funeral home, then a modest storefront at 1030 Pearl Street, Darlington. There, our bond as a community was forged. When gifted 10 acres of land, we envisioned a new sanctuary.

However, the anticipated construction costs of $4.5 million skyrocketed to $8 million, leaving us in uncertainty.

In a moment of uncertainty at the news our lead Pastor Kyle Meyer was ready to quit….

This new chapter stands as a testament to our community’s resilience and the power of unwavering belief.

Apostle Kyle Meyer's letter of intent on behalf of our church in buying this property.

Vision directly from our Apostle:

We made a major announcement. Yes, it’s true, Dominion Church is under contract and purchasing Pee Dee Electric Cooperative headquarters located at 1355 East McIver Rd. in Darlington.
“ Then the Lord answered me and said: “Write the vision And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie…
‭‭Habakkuk‬ ‭2‬:‭2‬-‭3‬ ‭
Why would a church need 87,000 ft.² and over 40 acres?
Anyone that’s been a part of Dominion Churches vision since our conception in the Kistler Hardee funeral home back in 2018 knows it has always been about being the church and not just having church services.
This facility is something we can occupy RIGHT NOW and continue having services that we are seeing hundreds of lives impacted in weekly , but this facility is also something we can start working our RIGHT NEXT on every part of our vision.
Over the next couple days, I will take to social media every morning and begin to break down every part of this elephant. God gave me strategy in prayer recently letting me know the people of God need to see it piece by piece. So here we go:
Phase zero: Blueprint.
Occupy the large assembly room with very little uptfit.: (Dominion it) some logos, Paint, collateral, etc. this large room (pictured below) will serve as our worship space. With the ability to seat our current Sunday morning attendance (300), we will literally be able to pivot and keep moving.
Located to the right of the large assembly room is another large room that would be utilized for our children’s ministry as is. (Pictured Blue room with LED wall)
Located to the right on the blueprint is another large room that we would utilize as our nursery. This room is able to be divided into sections. This will house our as is church family.
It’s as if when God had this campus built, it was built with The vision He gave us in mind. There’s so much more we will discuss in the days ahead, such as the renovations of the main office building into a large sanctuary, the renovations of the truck maintenance shop into our Iglesia Campus Iglesia Dominion… But for now, take this bite and chew it with me.
We were going to build on our 10 acres on the bypass but after the ever increasing cost inflation on material and labor our building that would’ve cost us 4.5 million quickly shot to almost 7,000,000. That facility would’ve been 22,000 ft.².
It’s simple, it’s stewardship, Pee Dee power plant :four times the building, four times the property, at less than a quarter of the cost. Not only that, this campus holds element of our vision that is on our 10 year plan. Now vision is expedited.
Our community knows us. We are #CommunityMinded. From our food giveaways, to helping families pay their electric bills, to the gas on God, and drive through prayer lines. We’ve always been a #BootsOnTheGround ministry. This facility will be a whole army on the ground. Prayerfully consider partnering with us to help make this happen.
There’s still a financial a need in making the deal done. Approximately $700k . Anybody that would like to contribute please contact me, our church directly, or simply give through the link below.
Just think… The headquarters that has distributed, light energy and power to our region for years is about to become a light of the world distribution center flowing in the power of the Holy Ghost!

“But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.””
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭19‬:‭26‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
Dominion Church started in the Kistler-Hardee Funeral Home. Yes, without a single dollar in the bank and only the shirts on our back. J Todd Hardee Invited Dominion church into his funeral home chapel every Sunday for the first three months of our conception. We were there until we outgrew it. He never charged us a dollar. He never asked for anything, still to this day hasn’t.
He’ll never know what that meant. Sometimes for us to believe for what’s next we have to remember what God brought us through.
From the funeral home (a place where people go to bury things we went to plant something that preaches the message of eternal life) to the power house (a power and light distribution center). Only God can make this stuff up. 😂😂😂
Phase 0 continues: We occupy the assembly room in the building pictured in Yesterdays post. Continuing to cultivate family and see lives transformed by the gospel of Jesus Christ. Growth will be instant as the community we are being injected in, the harvest is plenty. Our evangelism team is already strategizing multiple outreaches. Without an instant ability and programs in place for trade schools, proposed trade school buildings ( pictured below ) will be rented out to businesses in the community that need them. This will help generate funds to get the trade schools up and going along with grant programs. So as the ministry continues to grow simultaneously, we will start phase 1.
Phase 1: The renovation of the main office building. Approximately 32,700 sqft
Construction/ Renovation of the larger sanctuary taking seating to 500 souls. Salvation connection rooms , Discipleship training classrooms , Deliverance rooms, Staff offices, Christian Counseling, community meeting rooms, Dominion Learning Center, addiction and recovery program,A Daycare , Cafe, Dominions Gear store , a prison ministry resource center, SOAR Bible college ,and the beginning development of our trade schools .
Phase 1: Now in the building where we would be meeting “the assembly room.” The back of the building receives a large renovation for children’s ministry. Our children’s church Dominion Church – Kingdom Kids takes over the large assembly room. Imagine with me 300 kids, worshiping and encountering Jesus. Nursery will occupy what would’ve been the large blue room with the divider of glass walls for a sensory room. Nursery and Kingdom Kidz takes over the whole backside of the building. Basically our children’s ministry will have as much room as we currently have at 1030 Pearl St all buildings combined.
Phase 1: in short: main sanctuary moves to renovated front office (pictured below), Kingdom Kidz and children’s ministry space takes over Assembly room, Epic Youth, and the Iglesia Dominion spaces are renovated, and all services are firing on all cylinders.
Conclusion: we will be releasing pledge cards this week, for anyone that would like to partner with us. Every dollar is significant in this. This facility will change our community and region. What we are building is not just a church But a community center. I understand this is something that will be here long after we are gone. Our children’s children will continue to advance the Kingdom of God and encounter Jesus on these grounds. We are asking businesses, business owners, Churches, Ministry, community leaders, And any person that has ever heard anything good about Dominion Church to prayerfully consider sowing something into making this happen. Our goal $700,000 by October 1.
OUR HEART : This will be a win for the Local church. Hear me please pastors , this vision is entirely too big for one ministry to carry. Our heart will be in occupying the space, if we can be a resource to your church, to your leadership, or even if you need the space to hold an event. We want to help you make this happen. This will not be Dominion church‘s property. This will be GODS property and used to advance His kingdom.
“Where there is no vision, the people perish: But he that keepeth the law, happy is he.”
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭29‬:‭18‬ ‭
So the equal truth of the scripture is: “Where there is a Vision The people have life.”

“True vision is being able to see the end of something before ever seeing the beginning.”
“I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come. I say, ‘My purpose will stand, and I will do all that I please.’”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭46‬:‭10‬ ‭NIV‬‬
Have you heard the news? Dominion Church is on the brink of a monumental endeavor that will reshape lives and our community . We are thrilled to announce that we are purchasing the Peedee Electric Co-op building, spanning a whopping 87,000 square feet, nestled within 40 sprawling acres of potential. But this is not just a mere acquisition; it is a God divine opportunity for us to ignite true change in our Region and empower individuals to become all God has called them to be.
Picture this: a vibrant hub of hope, innovation, and restoration. Dominion Church is set to transform this magnificent space into a Ministry Equipping Center, a pioneering haven where dreams are realized, and lives are forever altered. Our vision extends far beyond the walls of a traditional church; we are committed to creating a dynamic environment that not only preaches the gospel but equips individuals with the tools to revolutionize their homes, neighborhoods, and society as a whole. A hub of hope that no longer allows the streets to claim peoples potential. A place where people #EncounterPurpose.
Phase 2:
At this point, as growth continues, trade schools will be in full operation. We will be working with grant programs that will not only create jobs for people in our community , but educational systems to influence our community. In a day where trades: electrical, plumbing, HVAC, Carpenter, automotive and technicians seem to be so hard to find; Dominion church will bring a Center of empowerment to our region. Not just seeing souls saved, but lives and communities transformed.
At this point of the vision it will be well know the campus is not a Sunday and Wednesday gathering but a seven days a week operation.
At this point in the vision, we are involved with other Churches, nonprofits, schools, government and community leaders, criminal justice departments and corrections that are all utilizing the space to further their vision and mission.
At this point of the vision, there’s a community council, where various community leaders will meet to strategize how this hub of hope can continue to influence our region.
At this point in the Vision, the main office building of Yesterdays expansion becomes one of the larger worship experiences in our area. A place where people from all walks of life can come and encounter the message of hope only found in The Gospel of Jesus Christ.
But we cannot do this alone. We need your support, your partnership, your faith and your belief in the power of transformation. As a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, we rely on the generosity of our partners and community to make this vision a reality. Your financial contributions will directly impact the lives of countless individuals, offering them a second chance, a fresh start, and a future filled with purpose.
Join us on this exhilarating journey as we embark on a mission that will shake the foundations of despair and ignite a revolution of hope in JESUS in our Region . Together, we can build a stronger, kinder, and more compassionate world. Together, we can transform lives, one soul at a time.

“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭5‬:‭14‬-‭16‬
I want to begin to break down certain elements of the vision that will become catalyst for our future. Over the last three days, you have read the grand scheme of things but now the intricate details will be what truly places a Gospel Centered, power plant , in our region.
In the light of hurricane Idalia, that just recently passed through. I thought today’s post is rather proper, and fitting.
Located on this campus is a Campus Wide generator.
when I saw it, my mind instantly began to run wild with vision and ideas.
Picture this with me. God for bid but another horrific incident like that of hurricane Hugo slams the Carolinas. There’s seniors and children alike who need electricity to run medical equipment. Hospitals are equipped with these large generators during the time of catastrophic events. Their main focus is on bed space for those who may be injured then they have to make room for those who have to have power supply for their equipment.
Imagine an epicenter that is open to the region in partnership, with hospitals that a campuswide generator runs all of our facility. Quickly classrooms, warehouses, office spaces are converted into reception rooms for anybody and everybody that would need power. We would become a provider and a safe haven For anybody and everybody that would need it. Imagine churches and ministries like Crazy Hope Community Center and Warming Hearts Ministry coming in and running soup kitchens and clothing closets for those that are in need in the wake of a catastrophic event. We escaped for the most part this hurricane… But what about the next one? Will we have a facility that’s ready? Will we be prepared? Your partnership can determine that.
This vision far reaches beyond one church. One nonprofit. We understand. This is a collaboration, this is a Regional Mandate. This is for the PeeDee, this is for the people of the Carolinas.
Different entities, Churches, and nonprofits are starting to catch on. We want to say thank you to Unity Christian Church for their significant seed of $5000 sown into this work yesterday. This kind of partnership is what’s gonna be needed to make this deal happen.
We cannot do this alone. We need your support, your partnership, and your belief in the power of transformation. The need to make this deal happen:
In a county with over 390 churches if just 1/3 of them would match Unitys gift… if 100 churches would sow 5,000 we would be almost there in making this happen.
Some ministries could shed $50,000 and it wouldn’t affect their budget one bit.

“Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.””
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭19‬:‭14‬ ‭
There’s so many families in our area and region that would love to be in a worship experience, but unable to because of sensory restrictions with their children. Whether it be autism or other effects that hinder these families from being able to find a place where they can worship. This breaks our heart.
I recently had a conversation with a family that’s wanting to be in church, but cannot be because of not being able to find a place that ministers to their autistic children. I just had another conversation this week with a friend trying to find a space for a family where their adult autistic child would be safe, accepted and ministered to. Imagine with me A safe place for these children to grow and develop a relationship with Jesus. We are committed to do just that.
Dominion Church is committed to developing sensory room/rooms for special-needs children.
Not just rooms and worship experiences that minister to their needs but also personnel “buddy systems.“
Our church is currently doing things like this. But this location will allow us to take it to a whole nother level, allowing families that deal with special needs children to truly be able to enjoy worship experience while their lives most precious possession is in the hands of compassionate trained Leaders.
“So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.”
‭‭John‬ ‭8‬:‭36‬ ‭
This one hits home. 16 years ago, I was bound in a life of reckless addictions and decisions. It was at rock-bottom that I discovered who the rock was at the bottom. Addiction has hit every home in someway shape or form. There’s not a single person that will scroll past this status that has not seen some affects how addiction has affected them.
Being in the ministry now for 14 years, I’ve seen the effects of the gospel. The life transforming power of Jesus, and what it truly means to set people free. I stood by the hospital beds of those that have overdosed as doctors called the Time Of Death, but I stood by the baptism pools of those Whose lives were radically being transformed.
Dominion Church purchasing the Pee Dee Electric Cooperative building will be another net in the swamp of addiction. Snatching lives from the despairing bondage that so greatly affects our region.
We are currently in the midst of launching a recovery program in partnership with another local ministry. The Darlington area is in a deficit for these kinds of programs. Our team is already boots on the ground and launching this. This facility will allow it to go to another level. All along we will continue our partnership with great ministries like House of Hope. The war against addiction is an all hands on deck.
Where are your hands?
Would you prayerfully consider sowing into this work?

Day 7 – The finality of writing the vision and making it plain… For now.
“‘In the last days,’ God says, ‘I will pour out my Spirit upon all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy. Your young men will see visions, and your old men will dream dreams.”
‭‭Acts of the Apostles‬ ‭2‬:‭17‬ ‭
I have a Dream where the church will no longer be about the color of one’s skin nor the degree of their denomination…
I have a dream where collaboration is the new celebration and division is the devil.
I have a dream, where churches will no longer be separated by race, class, or creed!
I have a dream for those who preach Christ and Him crucified will understand we are better together!
Day seven of the vision is pretty simple. We understand this mandate that we are carrying is much larger than what any ONE ministry can carry. Today we want to emphasize the importance of many ministries coming together to use this space for the glory of God. Our heart will be to offer space to ministries that God is breathing upon.
One thing that God has been dealing with me about is the calling of collaboration.
Many streams make mighty rivers!
“Consider The Ant” Proverbs 6:6
By itself, it can carry some weight , but a large colony of ants is known to move thousands of pounds of earth a year.
In the moments leading up to Jesus‘s death in John 17, a prayer of unity is recorded. Where he prays that “we would be one as he and the father are one.“
Our vision is truly to be a “hub of hope“. A place where different churches and ministries can utilize our facilities. Meeting rooms. Training rooms and resources. A hub where government leaders of biblical convictions can come use our large sanctuary space for talks on how to revitalize our region. A Place where school graduation ceremonies can take place. Clothing closets, soup kitchens , recovery programs… One place of many people.
Will you prayerfully consider partnering with us. We have a dream, we have a vision, and we truly believe this to be the heart of God for our region. It’s bigger than any one of us. We need you. We need your help.
Our need is now below $500,000!
That’s 100 people giving $5000.
